Acid peels

MANDELIC 30 %, MANDELIC 40 %

Indications:

Exfoliation of acne-prone skin. Facial rejuvenation on acne scars and marks and also on

sun damaged skin.

The main ingredient of the formula is mandelic acid. Mandelic acid is an alpha

hydroxyacid extracted from almonds. It has various dermatological properties:

• breaks the connections between the corneocytes of the stratum corneum, effectively

eliminating them

• interacts with fibroblast receptors stimulating the production of proteoglycans and

collagen in the dermis

• increases the hydration of the dermis

GLICOLIC 35 %, GLICOLIC 50 %

Indications:

Anti-aging, photo-aging, hyperpigmentations, fine expression lines, uneven skin tone,

pigmentations, freckled and rough skin types.

Alpha hydroxyacid (AHA) with the lowest molecular weight, it is therefore the acid that

best penetrates the skin. Complementary treatment in acne, post inflammatory

hyperpigmentations, superficial scars, melasmas, seborrheic and actinic keratosis and

in some wrinkles which resist conventional treatments.

PIRUVIC 30 %, PIRUVIC 40 %

Indications:

Prevention and treatment of acne, seborrheic dermatitis, post-acne scars, post-

inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Pyruvic acid is an alpha-keto acid. Its hydrophilic capacity is lower than glycolic and

salicylic acid and therefore it has greater degree of penetration throughout the

pilosebaceous follicle. It causes a pH range reduction in follicular level that produces a

bacteriostatic effect and a reduction in the cohesion of the keratinocytes in the sebaceous

gland wall. Pyruvic acid is a powerful sebostatic and reduces the oiliness of the seborrheic

and acne skin.


LACTIC 30 %, LACTIC 40 %

Indications:

Dry skin, fine lines, expression lines, photo-aging, desquamated skins.

An Alpha hydroxyacid (AHA) with anti-aging and hydrating properties. It is mainly used

as an anti-aging chemical to even contours, reduce sun damage, and improve skin tone

and texture and general appearance. Breaks the connections between the corneocytes

of the stratum corneum, eliminating them. Interacts with fibroblasts receptors,

stimulating the production of proteoglycans and collagen in the dermis.


SALICILIC 2 %

Indications:

Acne, pimples, acne prevention on oily skins, treatment of clogged pores and keratosis,

seborrheic dermatitis and rosacea.

Just like other beta-hydroxy acids, salicylic acid is the key active on acne, psoriasis,

pimples, oily skin, clogged pores, and keratosis treatment. It acts as a keratolitic,

increasing epidermal desquamation, unclogging pores and neutralizing bacteria and

therefore reducing the appearance of pimples. This peel reduces pore size, which

prevents pore clogging and increases space for

cellular growth.


TKB is a daycare procedure with a content of balanced trichloroacetic acid (TCA). The
