Tables for material selection depending on mediumFollowing tables are of help to the technicians for selecting the most suitable material depending on type of fluid. Given indications are based on our experience and on technical data given by manufacturers: they should be a guide and are not binding for us since too many factors can endanger the result of an application.

note: For EPDM HT and XNBR refer respectively to EPDM and NBR.

For seat and coating here below are minimum and maximum temperatures

    PTfe: -60C / +200C nR (natural rubber): -40C / +80C

    ePDM: -35C / + 130C MQ (silicon): -60C / +190C

    ePDM HT: -30C / + 145C XnBR (carboxidate): -25C / +100C

    nBR (BUnA): -25C / -100C RILSAn: -35C / +100C

    cR (neOPRene): -20C / +100C ecTfe (HALAR): -40C / see tables

    fKM (VITOn): -20C / +200C
