44 - 244Design and Synthesis of Substituted Compounds Containing the1,4-Benzodioxin Subunit. New Potential Calcium Antagonists. —Twelve novel calcium channel antagonists such as (I), (II), and (III) areprepared. The synthetic route is based on the synthesis of the functionalizedheterocyclic systems and subsequent alkylation of the appropriate amine withthe corresponding alkylating reagent. An exact relationship between structureand calcium antagonistic activity is not detectable.
