2002 structure structure (solids and liquids) D 2000 27 - 006 Non-aqueous Synthesis and Structure of a Novel Monodimen- sional Zirconium Phosphate: [NH 4 ] 3 [Zr(OH) 2 (PO 4 )(HPO 4 )]. The novel, one-dimensional title compound is synthesized from a mixture of ZrOCl 2 ·8H 2 O, H 3 PO 4 , en, NH 4 F, and (HOCH 2 CH 2 ) 2 O in a ratio of 1:1.2:1:4:30 (autoclave, 180 C, 6 d). As revealed by single crystal XRD, the compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 with Z = 2. The structure consists of macroanionic chains of [ZrP 2 O 10 H 3 ] 3- separated by NH 4 + cations.
