Remove (4) Phillips screws holdingradio to remove. (Figure B)

Unclip and remove the trim platepanel surrounding the radio. (Figure A)

Disconnect the negative battery termi-nal to prevent an accidental short cir-cuit.

Remove (4) Phillips screws fromradio to remove. (Figure B)

Unclip and remove the trim panelsfrom both sides of radio/climate con-trols. (Figure A)

Disconnect temperature selectorcable on passenger side of centerconsole behind glove box. (Figure C)

Unsnap and remove entire panel sur-rounding radio. Note: The clips hold-ing radio panel to dash are verystrong. (Figure D)

Remove (4) 10 MM bolts securingradio to remove. (Figure E)

Disconnect air selector cable ondrivers side of center console behinddash above accelerator pedal.(Figure A & B)

Open glove box and remove (5)Phillips screws ((3) on top and (2) onbottom) then remove entire glove.

Slide the aftermarket head unit intothe cage and secure. (Figure C)

Cut and remove front lowermounting tabs from radio housing.(Figure A)

Slide the DIN cage into the RadioHousing and secure by bendingthe metal locking tabs down.(Figure B)

Mount the ISO Brackets to thehead unit with the screws sup-plied with the unit. (Figure B)

FINAL ASSEMBLY

Make wiring connections using the EIA color code chart shown below and the instructions included with the headunit. Metra recommends making connections as shown below; Strip, Splice, Solder, Tape. Isolate and individuallytape off ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.

METRA / EIA WIRING CODE

*NOTE: When a Black wire is not present, ground radio to vehicle chassis.All colors may not be present on all leads due to manufacturer’s specifications.

1 Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making connections as shown. (Isolate and individuallytape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.)

2 Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.

3 Snap radio housing assembly into factory radio opening.
