Two ADF Receivers from ROCKWELL COLLINS (SERIES 900), in accordance with ARINC 712, a second loop and sense antenna shall be installed.

Specification repercussion :

After contractual agreement with respect to weight, performance, delivery, etc, the indicated part of the specification wording will read as follows :

34-53.01.00 Two (2) ADF receivers generally in accordance with ARINC 712 shall be installed in the avionics compartment.

34-53.02.00 The ADF receivers shall be tuned automatically by the FMGCs or manually on the MCDUs. 34-53.02.01 In the event of a dual FMS function failure, the ADF receivers may be tuned on the on side

RMP. 34-53.03.00 Two (2) combined loop and sense antennas shall be installed. 34-53.05.00 Test facilities shall be provided through the CFDS to enable the outputs of the ADF

receivers to be checked with the equipment installed. Key to Figure 23.00 shall be modified accordingly.

This modification consists of : - installation of two (2) ADF receivers with associated mount in the Avionics Compartment, - installation of a second ADF loop and sense antenna, - installation of an additional circuit breaker and associated wiring, - modification of Display Management Computer (DMC), FMGC, RMP pin programming.
