He has been conducting seminars and workshops, presenting in national and international conferences. He was editor of Bengal Journal of Psychiatry in the year 1996. He was convener of specialty section on child and adolescence of Indian Psychiatric Society from 2007-09 and chairman from 2010-11 and was convener of specialty section on Biological Psychiatry of Indian Psychiatric Society for the year 2011-12.
