The attached was compiled by a remarkable, compassionate and very determined woman who founded and runs an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City. She does an amazing job at the orphanage; the approximately 160 children in her care are fed, educated and loved. She never turns anyone away and because of her reputation she frequently finds children on her doorstep, or asked by the local hospital to take an abandoned baby.But times are hard and getting even harder! The name of the singer that you'll hear when you watch the slide show is My Tam, a hugely popular performer in Vietnam (their Celine Dion) and you'll hear why - she has a lovely voice. The words are along the lines of "Father where art thou? There are many disabled and homeless children in the world who need your help, who need a home and care and a hug". Rose Charities Vietnam supports Be Tho, as well as other orphanages, scholarships, micro-credit programmes and a school for the blind. The Rose Charities international network of independent organizations are not for profit, secular and non political.
