IntroductionChildren’s Week is an annual event and will be celebrated from 21-29 October.

It is an opportunity for the community to get involved in a variety of activities that encourage children and their families to play, learn and grow together.

This year’s Children’s Week theme is ‘Education has the power to transform children’s lives’.

A number of organisations, community groups and businesses are holding events and activities across East Gippsland to celebrate Children’s Week. We encourage you to get involved and join in the celebrations.

East Gippsland Shire acknowledges the Gunaikurnai, Monero and the Bidawel people as the Traditional Custodians of the land that encompasses East Gippsland Shire.

We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in East Gippsland, their Elders past, present and future.
