About Us

WHAT WE BELIEVE We believe in Salvation through confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. (Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9-10; John 14:6) There is only one living and true God. There are three persons in the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:2,27; Matthew 28:19; I John 5:7)

We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20,21). We believe Jesus Christ, conceived of the Virgin Mary, is the only begotten Son of the Father. Jesus was crucified, buried and rose from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor. (Luke 1:26-33; Hebrews 7:25)

We believe we are justified (declared righteous under the blood of Jesus) when we repent of our sins and believe in Jesus Christ. (Acts 13:38,39; Romans 5:1; I Corinthians 6:11; Mark 1:5) We believe that an evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the ability to speak in unknown tongues.

We believe in the operation of the nine Gifts of the Spirit and encourage our people to live so that these gifts may be manifest in their lives. (Acts 2:4;

Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:6; I Corinthians 12:4-11). We believe in water baptism by immersion in water in the name of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 3:11; Matthew 28:18-19; John 14:6)

We believe in divine healing for the body. However, we encourage and do not condemn medical science. (Acts 3:2-12; Acts 5:15, 16; James 5:14-15)

We believe every blessing we receive from God comes through the merits of The Atonement(Jesus’ complete sacrifice for us on Calvary). (Romans 5:11; James 1:16,17) We believe in the Second Coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:10,11; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 1:7)

We believe those who die outside of Christ will be punished in an eternal Hell, but those who die “in Him” shall share in His glory in Heaven forever. (Daniel 12:2; Matthew 25:46; John 5:29; Jude 1:7)

We believe in the sacredness of marriage between one man & one woman and family commitment. We promote strong family values. (Ephesians 5:31-33; Ephesians 6:1-4; Hebrews 13:4; Matthew 19:5 Leviticus 18:22; Genesis 2:24)

Ministries

Music, Worship & Arts MinistryThe vision of the ETCC Music Ministry is to build an army of people who have been gifted by God with musical abilities that can be used corporately to build the Kingdom of God in this ministry. We are focused on winning souls and equipping believers through a lifestyle of worship. This ministry includes choral, dance, flags, and drama ministries.

Gideon's Army Prayer MinistryThe prayer ministry mobilizes a united prayer effort within the church to encourage, teach and mentor intercessors that will give priority and emphasis to prayer in life and ministry.

New Members MinistryNew Members’ Ministry provides inspiration and information to new members of the ETCC. We provide encouragement and instruction to new believers, and understanding and direction to committed Christians as they work for Christ. It is our goal to acclimate each new member to ministry opportunities and services available through the church.

Fishers of MenThis ministry exists to go into the world and win souls for the Kingdom of God. We believe in getting the Gospel of Jesus Christ out to this lost world. The ministry reaches out to all nations. Our approach to ministry is one based in God's abundant mercy and His unconditional love. We have a passion to see people's lives touched and changed by Jesus Christ.

First Touch MinistryThe Greeters and Ambassadors greet worshipers and escort them to their seats, distribute materials related to the worship service and direct individuals to pay tithes and offering in an orderly manner. The Ambassadors ministry revolves around serving first; and ushering comessecond.

Kidz Empowerment ZoneThe Kidz Empowerment Zone is a place where children ages 10 and under worship. Children learn about prayer, worship, and the word of God in an environment that is structured for them.

Celebration MinistryThis ministry is responsible for making sure that ETCC members are celebrated on Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc.

Apollos Follow-up MinistryThis ministry exists to reach out and thank guests for attending services and to show concern and care of the church for members who have been absent for awhile.

Compassion MinistryThe death of a loved one is an intense and painful experience for most people and this ministry exists to reach out with love and support to those who have lost a loved one.

Men of EmpowermentIt's purpose is to disciple men to become more Christlike so they can be the strong spiritual leaders that we so desperately need in our homes, churches, and communities.

New Member Intake MinistryThe purpose of this ministry is to welcome new members, make sure that they have received salvation which is a prerequisite to being a member and follow up with them.

Shepherd StaffThe purpose of this ministry is to pray for the needs of the first family. The staff provides the support needed to the first family, whether it be in the form of prayer, encouragement through words, or other actions that show their love and gratitude to the pastoral family.

Medical MinistryThe purpose of this ministry is to provide emergency management during services, educate parishioners on approved heathcare topics, and coordinate health events including CPR training, health fairs, etc.

Premarital and Marriage CounselingCounseling is provided for members by the Pastor per request. Pre-marital counseling is a twelve week course and is the prerequisite to the Pastor performing the nuptials.

God's Anointed New Generation (GANG)The purpose of this ministry is to train our youth and young adults in the ways of the Lord. Youth and young adults currently minister on 4th Sunday in our 10am Worship Experience.

Sisters of Strength Women's MinistryThis purpose of the Women's Ministry is to educate, encourage, equip and empower women in their journey toward the heart of God. The women fellowship quarterly.
