In 2010, the rate of return on assets for foreign-funded enterprises and HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises was 9%, 1.8% higher thannationwide average. Among foreign-funded enterprises and HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises in following major distribution areas, thoseenterprises in Liaoning realized the highest rate of return on assets, and those in Guangdong achieved the lowest ROAs. Those foreign-fundedand HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises in Liaoning realized a ROA of 10.6% in 2010, 3.4% higher than the nationwide average, 1.6%higher than that of nationwide average of all foreign-funded and HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises.
