In 2010, the rate of return on assets for foreign-funded enterprises and HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises was 38.4%, 18.3% higher thannationwide average. Among foreign-funded enterprises and HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises in following major distribution areas, thoseenterprises in Heilongjiang realized the highest rate of return on assets, and those in Shandong achieved the lowest ROAs. Those foreign-fundedand HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises in Heilongjiang realized a ROA of 22.5% in 2010, 2.4% higher than the nationwide average, 15.9%lower than that of nationwide average of all foreign-funded and HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises.
