Dear Colleagues,
The current world economy is in a stalemate in the recovery and the brink of a crisis. Whilst some countries announce GDP figures that show second or triple-dip recession, the economic growth the China experienced in the last decade has also started to show signs of slowing down. In the midst of the economic uncertainty, talent management plays a pivotal role in the entire process of organizational development. However, despite China’s enormous pool of university graduates, China is not producing enough talent to sustain the economic ascent of the past 20 years. HR professionals in China now faced a huge talent crunch threatening their survival or growth plans.
It is therefore critical that HR professionals look for talent both externally as well as from within. From within, companies will need to prevent the departure of high potentials and carefully groom their leadership capabilities. Externally, HR professionals will need to re-assess their recruitment, employer branding and talent identification in order to support either their survival or sustainable growth plans.
Clariden Global bring these wide range of challenging HR issues together at this China Talent Management Conference – inviting speakers to present case studies, research and showcase the latest HR best practices. Join us this December at Shanghai for a gathering of global and local HR gurus, practitioners from multinational, Chinese state-owned and private companies. You will discover, engage and experience everything there is to know about talent management strategy, social recruiting, succession planning, talent screening and assessment, leadership development and employer branding.
