Tourist visa (max. 2 entries):

one duly filled in application form (typewriter or block letters)

Business visa:

a corresponding (for single / double entry) invitation issued by the chinese partnercompany on letter-headed paper incl. clearly legible company stamp & signature (copy willbe accepted)

for multiple entry visa (6 months, each stay max. 30 days) a corresponding ( 6 months,multiple entry) invitation issued by the chinese partner company on letter-headed paper

incl. clearly legible company stamp & signature (copy will be accepted). Further on, theapplicant has to prove that a multiple entry visa was issued for him earlier (copy of thisvisa will be sufficient). If it is not possible to verify this, only a double entry visa valid for 3months will be issued by the Chinese consulate.

for 6 months multiple entry visa with more than 30 days of each stay a correspondingofficial invitation issued by a ministry, province government or officially authorizedcompany in PR China is required. Clearly legible copy will be accepted. A companyinvitation is not sufficient!

for multiple entry visa with one year validity a corresponding official invitation issued by aministry, province government or officially authorized company in PR China is required asan original document. A company invitation is not sufficient!

Important: Non-German citizens are required to attach a copy of their min. 6 months validresidence permit / stay permit for Germany.Applicants of PR China, Hong Kong or Taiwan origin have to fill in their full name in Chinesecharacters.

The visa can only be applied for earliest 50 days prior to the first entry!!

Visa validity:

A single or double entry visa is valid 3 months from the date of issue for a stay of the allowednumber of days.A multiple entry visa is valid 6 or 12 months (depending on the official invitation) and is only

issued in special cases. A longer processing time is possible.

Standard processing time is four working days.

For preferential handling you have to pay an additional fee of 20,00 Euro ( processing time: 2working days ).Express visa handling (same day) is not possible at the Chinese Consulate General inFrankfurt.

Attention: US- citizens and citizens of France have to pay an additional visa fee. Preferentialhandling or express processing is not possible.Citizens of Turkey have to apply for their visa personally at the Chinese Consulate General inFrankfurt.

Work visa
