功 能FUNCTIONS

主要任務

• Assist the government in promoting bilateral or multilateral economic relations with other countries.

• Establish stable platforms for interactions with foreign industry and commerce groups and other related organizations. CIECA has signed memoranda of understanding and established friendly, cooperative relations with 145 industry and commerce groups in 97 countries.

• Encourage visits from foreign businesses to promote industry exchanges.

• Execute affairs related to the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

• Perform other tasks related to the promotion of international economic cooperation.

中華民國國際經濟合作協會（簡稱國經協

會）在政府指導暨工商界支持下，由辜濂松

先生於民國89年8月9日正式創立。其成立目的係為配合政策，加強國際經貿交流合作，

拓展對外實質關係，擴大國際活動空間。

本會會員共200餘，不僅包括製造業、服務業及高科技公司，也結合了我國民間知名大

小企業及公協會，共同為拓展我國國際關

係，推動經貿合作及促進科技交流而努力。

本會第5屆第1次會員大會於105年11月30日假台北國際會議中心舉行，選出本會第5屆新任理事35人及監事11人。由義美食品公司高志尚董事長當選理事長，張宏嘉、歐陽

禹、孫杰夫、簡漢生、黃博治擔任副理事

長，並由薛香川擔任監事會召集人。

本會設有雙邊事務委員會，置委員若干人，

由理事長聘請具有國際事務經驗之工商界領

袖或專業人士擔任，雙邊經濟合作會議中方

主席則由理事長自各委員中聘任，任期與理

事會任期相同。

Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association (also known as CIECA) was founded by the late Dr. Jeffrey L. S. Koo on

August 9, 2000 to promote international economic cooperation through collaboration of R.O.C. businessmen and private business

organizations with their counterparts in foreign countries.

CIECA is composed of more than 200 members including companies in the manufacturing, services and high-tech industries as well as renowned corporations and non-profit organizations working together to expand our nation’s international relations, promote economic and trade cooperation and facilitate technological exchange.

The first membership meeting of the 5th term was held on November 30, 2016 at the Taiwan International Conference Center. 35 new board directors and 11 supervisors were elected for the 5th term. Chairman Henry Kao of I-Mei Foods Co. Ltd. was elected as board chairman. Mr. Walter H.C. Chang, Mr. Robert Ouyoung, Mr. Jeff Sun, Mr. Chien,

Han-Sun and Mr. Fred P. C. Huang will serve as vice chairmen. Mr. H. Steve Hsieh will serve as supervisors convener.

Since its foundation, CIECA has set up the Bilateral Economic Cooperation Committee, which consists of prominent

business leaders and renowned experts well experienced in international affairs whose length of term is equal to

the Board of Directs to preside over bilateral economic cooperation conferences and

relevant activities with counterparts in foreign countries.
