After 25 years of sweet success, Chinni, a design house of elegance, youth and energy, closed its doors

last Friday. Chinni was widely known for beautifying the world with confections of innovation, culture

and fun.

From an unused corner of a garage to practically every corner niche of South Asian communities,

Chinni spread its love of fashion across America from Los Angeles to New York, and then crossed

oceans and continents into the UK, India, South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia. Chinni closed with

over 1 billion dollars in assets, most of which will be distributed to causes that promote education,

and help those find and foster the same passion that created Chinni.

Chinni was founded on the concept of a culturecentric lifestyle that holds its own in a contemporary

society. Their primary goal was to use fashion as a means of fusing our cultural heritage with our

modern environment, where we can begin to exist as one whole person rather than our separate

halves. Through this coexistence, Chinni hoped to bring the world closer together through innovative

and intellectual products that would not only display but also educate about various facets of Indianculture.
