Read and understand all of the information in this training manual.

Review your kit contents for accuracy.

Conduct your pre-call to the store 3 days before your event and ask the receiving clerk if the product is in stock.

Activate your debit card the day before your event.

Ensure you bring the following items to your event: Entire kit contents, Sampling Table, Table Cloth, Paperwork, Pen (to complete paperwork), Apron, Tape, Microwave, Extension Cord (and duct tape to secure the cord) and a Small Trash Can or Trash Bag

Executing the Event

1. Arrive on time to your store on the day of your event. Introduce yourself to the store manager and set up next to the Chips Ahoy!® in-store display if at all possible. If for some reason you are unable to set up next to the display, please set up near the cracker and cookie aisle.

2. Build a small table display of Chips Ahoy!® Filled and Chunky cookies for shoppers to purchase directly from your table.

3. Open up one (1) package of each flavor of Chips Ahoy!® Cookies

4. Prior to serving your first sample, please plug in and test the strength of your microwave. Please test using one (1) Chips Ahoy!® Brownie Filled Cookie and place in microwave on a napkin for 6-8 seconds. Please taste to ensure the cookie is soft, warm and chewy.

5. When you are ready to start sampling, take one (1) Chips Ahoy!® Brownie Filled Cookie out of the package and place it on a napkin. Serve warm by placing the cookie in the microwave for 6-8 seconds as shoppers stop at your sampling table. DO NOT OVERHEAT when sampling to shoppers. Repeat this step for Chips Ahoy!® Fudge Filled Cookies. CHIPS AHOY!® CHUNKY FLAVOR COOKIES WILL NOT BE MICROWAVED.

6. Be sure to keep flavors on separate napkins.

7. Please have at least two (2) samples of each of the three flavors of Chips Ahoy!® Cookies on your table at all times.

8. Recite the features and benefits along with the heating instructions above to each shopper as they sample the product and encourage them to purchase Chips Ahoy!® Cookies today!

9. Inform shoppers that these products can be found in the cookie/cracker aisle.

NOTE: Please follow standard safety/health procedures when conducting your event. Do not distribute samples to children. Hand the sample to the parent or guardian to give to the child.

You must have your Allergen signs (from this Training Manual and/or in your kit) displayed on the front of the table during your event.

Post Event:

Return any left over Chips Ahoy!® product from your table

display to the shelf.

DO NOT take sample product out of the store. Leave any

leftover samples with the Store Manager or in the employee

break room.

Clean up, breakdown your table and leave your area as you

found it.

Complete your PromoReports® Form and obtain a store

stamp and a manager’s signature.

It is mandatory that you enter your results online or call into

PromoReports® to report your results upon event completion.

For online entry, please follow the instructions on your

PromoReports® form. If you are purchasing product, do NOT

include the product you are purchasing in your inventory

count.

Retain your PromoReports® Form for 1 year after calling in

your results.

If you are third party agent (not working directly for

PromoWorks) please follow your agency’s instructions on

receipts and PromoReports® form.

Please recycle your consumer engagement materials when possible.
