The Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science is home to two,
top 20 ranked graduate programs in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science
and Engineering. We offer a unique environment for graduate studies, we are large
enough to boast world-renowned faculty and state-of-the-art research facilities,
yet small enough to give every graduate student personal attention.
Davis is a small, bike-friendly university city located 12 miles west of Sacramento,
75 miles northeast of San Francisco, and within easy driving distance of attractions
