Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe Ingredients 3 1/2 cups flour 1 1/4 tsp baking soda 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 3/4 tsp salt 250 grams real butter 1 1/2 cups brown sugar (best kind is a Kaufland - moist version not the dry one) 1/2 cup regular white sugar 2 large eggs 2 1/4 tsp vanilla extract 1 to 1 1/2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips (cut up 1 baking chocolate bar into small squares - can find in the baking supplies section of Lidl or Carrefour) Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius. 2. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder & salt. Mix to combine and set aside. 3. Cream (mix) butter and sugars together just until blended. 4. Add eggs and the vanilla. 5. Put mixer on low speed, and add in dry ingredients. (not all at once) 6. Mix until just combined. Do not overmix. 7. Stir in chocolate chips with a spoon gently (don’t use mixer). 8. Place on cookie sheet and bake for about10-15 minutes for larger size and about 8-12 minutes for smaller size. Watch them carefully the first time as your time may vary a lot depending on your oven. 9. If you are freezing these cookies: Form into balls, and freeze on a cookie sheet. After frozen remove and add to a ziploc freezer bag. They will last for about a month in the freezer. To bake just take out and bake as directed, adding a few extra minutes of baking time.
