report • Tool to track accountability of annual goals
Benefits:• Assist school counselors with improvement of student success• Increase focus on school-wide assessment data to guide services
provided to students • Foster greater community understanding and support for the role of
school counselors

Getting StartedTo become an Indiana Choices for Achievement (RSC Lite) School("RSC Full" is the process to become a Gold Star school):
• Visit www.asainstitute.org• Click on "Redesigning School Counseling" under the
REGISTRATION heading• Click on "Choices for Achievement"
Logging In
• Each K-12 lead counselor received a login from InSAI in the mail in February, 2010.
• If you forgot your password, select “click here to register”.
• If you still have difficulty accessing your login, contact [email protected]. If you have gone through gold star, your login information will be the same.
• There is only one login per school.
Program Goals
Counselor will be able to add a program goal for theschool.• Enter a goal(s) from the achievement, student choice,
guidance or counseling area• Select from the list of suggested goals or create your
own (suggested state goals noted with an asterisk)• Select your targeted student group• “Add targets”
• input current year and target data (data shown in %)
Program Activities
Create at least one activity aligned with your goal.• Activity Type
– Guidance: Academic, Career, Personal-Social• If a guidance goal was selected, you will be able to select the
indicator(s) that aligns with your activity.
– Counseling– Advocacy– Management– Non-Program
Annual AnalysisCounselor will be able to review the progress of the goal• During the year, the plan can be updated (goals & activities can
be added or modified, for example). • Review your Target data and complete the “actual data” or
year-end result• Evaluate what did/didn’t work• Print Reports (the Program Goals; Activities; and Annual
Analysis Tabs enable you to print multiple reports):• Year-end report• Crosswalks• Detailed• Grade Level• Calendar
