JSVBS 2015 was successfully held from 5th to 19th June at NECK premises lead by the JSVBS Advisor Rev. Fr. Bijo Varghese, Vicar Rev.Fr. Aby Paul, JSVBS Director Mr. Mathew George and Headmaster Mr. Saju Kuriakose. The theme was “Leaf Shall not Wither” Psalm 1:3.The inauguration of the JSVBS was held on Friday, 5th June at Shlomo Prayer Hall.The children were divided in to 8 age groups – preschoolers, beginners 1 & 2, sub Juniors 1 & 2, Juniors 1 & 2 and Seniors. The Day of Love Feast and Day of Giving demonstrated the impor-tance of fellowship and charity. In total 280 students registered for the JSVBS and were taught by 21 teachers. Transportation was provided on all days from all over Kuwait.The closing ceremony of the JSVBS 2015 was held on Friday, 19th June at NECK from 7:30 to 10:00 PM with variety entertain-ment programs by the JSVBS students. Vicar Rev. Fr. Aby Paul presided the function and Fr Bijo Varghese, JSVBS Advisor gave the special message. Joint Director John C Thomas welcomed the gathering, Fr. Jibu Cherian and Fr. Kochumon, Vicar St. Peters Knanaya Church felicitated the JSVBS. Mr Mathew George, read the report and Dr. Sunila Kurian proposed the Vote of Thanks.
