I just wanted to build a clean octave down effect and stumbled upon the CHOPPED OC2 by Ben Milner. I knew that laying things on vero for such a project wouldn't be an easy task, but I wanted to do it anyway! As its parts count is higher than your average booster/OD/Pedal of sort this is gonna take more space too...So I just asked to myself why limit the board layout in 2D!? and after some days and a lot of trial and error I just managed to get the components spanned in two levels! The boards are then connected by some wires and are kept separate by some jumpers, two for the voltage and one for ground. This way it can fit even a 1590B with some careful planning, obviously you just can lay both boards flat if you want to use a BB. Just remember to connect the right connection points couples (you can wire just one voltage green point).
