MBA Admissions 2015 - 2016
Eligibility for session -II:
1) MBA Christ University (Kengeri and Main Campus) and 2) MBA (CU) + MS Business (VCU,USA);
I) A composite score of 600 (for students of Christ University-550) or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA in either September – 2014, December 2014 or February 2015 OR 70 Percentile or above in the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2014) OR 70 Percentile or above in the Common Admission Test 2014 (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) OR 70 Percentile or above in the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2015 OR 70 Percentage or above in the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) 2014.
And
II) Pass in undergraduate level programme with an aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent grade. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have an aggregate of 50% marks or above in all the Semesters / Years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far). Students writing their final degree examinations during March-May 2015 are also eligible to apply.
2) PGDM (CU)+MBA (FHWS, Germany):
I) A composite score of 500 or above in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by AIMA in either September – 2014, December 2014 or February 2015 OR70 Percentile or above in the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT 2014) OR 60 Percentile or above in the Common Admission Test 2014 (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) OR 70 Percentile or above in the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2015 OR 70 Percentage or above in the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) 2014. With one year work experience (part time/family business also considered).

Minimum Score specified for MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / ATMA is only an eligibility criteria and the
actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process
(Candidates must note that if selected, admission is provisional and subject to University rules - Any
original documents that are pending to be submitted to Office of Admissions, Christ University, must be
submitted on or before August 20, 2015. Failing to submit the pending documents will be treated as being
unsuccessful in the qualifying exam and admission will be terminated from Christ University).

1. The selection process includes the following criterion: academic performance (class 10, class 12 and
undergraduate degree), Group discussion (GD), Micro Presentation (MP), Written Skill Assessment (WSA) and
Personal Interview (PI).
2. Candidates must report for the above selection process on the allotted date and at least 30 minutes prior to the
time stipulated on the selection process admit card.

3. Those candidates not reaching the venue at the allotted date and time will not be permitted to take part in the
selection process.
4. Candidates are requested to start early to avoid traffic congestions.
5. GD/MP results will be intimated under the “Important Dates” Section.
6. All candidates are requested to prepare for a Micro Presentation (Extempore) as part of the Selection Process.
Candidates will be asked to speak on any of the topics given in our selection process link on “Topics for
Presentation 2015" during the GD.
7. Only candidates shortlisted after the GD/MP must appear for the WSA_PI.
8. Request for change in GD / PI dates will not be entertained.
9. Candidates have to access their selection process admit card from the link "Application Status" from our website
and print the same.
10. Offer of admission to the MBA programme of Christ University will be based on availability of seats in the
Main campus and Kengeri Campus.
Application Process:
Applications are available in the online format on our website www.christuniversity.in from February 1,
2014 until 4 pm of March 17, 2015.
Kindly note that only ONE application form will be accepted for each candidate. The application and
selection process for MBA (CU) (Kengeri/ main Campus, PGDM (CU) with MBA (FHWS, Germany), MBA
with MS (VCU, USA), MBA Financial Management (CU) and MBA Travel and Tourism Mangement (CU)
is the same. Candidates need not apply separately for each course/preference.
All candidates must follow the following steps to process and apply using the online application form:
The online application can either be processed after remitting the Application processing fee at SBI core banking
branches in the prescribed SBI challan format given on the University website or through the ‘payment gateway’
option with a valid Credit/Debit Card/Net banking facility(details are given under the preferred programme
page on the University website).
To fill in the application form, you must have:

a)A copy of the remitted SBI application processing fee challan of Rs 1200/- (Non- refundable) from any core
banking branch of State bank of India/a valid Credit / Debit Card or Net banking facility.
b) A valid e-mail ID and mobile number for further communication (A system generated e-mail confirmation with
the application number and date of birth entered into the Online Application will be sent to the provided e-mail
ID).
c) Class 10 and class 12 marks statement.
d) Mark statement of semester I, II, III, IV, V & VI / year I, II & III, if candidate is pursuing a six semester / three
year
undergraduate course.
e) Mark statement of semester I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII & VIII / year I, II, III & IV, if candidate is pursuing an eight
semester /
four year undergraduate course.The same will be applicable for 5 year LLB programme.
f) Provisional degree certificate, if candidate has completed / graduated on or before November 2014.
g) Degree certificate (convocation certificate), if candidate has graduated on or before June 2014.
h) MAT / CAT /CMAT / XAT/ ATMA score card (Sep MAT 2014 / Dec MAT 2014 / Feb MAT 2015 / CAT
2014 / CMAT 2014 / XAT 2015 / ATMA 2014) statement.
i) Copy of work related documents (Joining letter / Experience Letter & Latest Salary Slip) (Full Time / Part Time / Family Business also considered) (Mandatory) for candidates selected for the dual degree PGDM (CU) +MBA, (FHWS, Germany) programme.
1. Applications are available in the ‘Online’ format only on our website.
2. Read the “Terms and Conditions” in detail and tick the mandatory fields given below.
3. Fill-in all applicable fields in the Online Application Form after which Click "Submit"
4. On clicking 'Submit', a viewable and editable page will appear on screen. In case you need to make any
corrections; you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.
5. After submitting, you will receive the Application Number and your Date of Birth with the option to print your
application form.
6. Kindly print and sign the application form after filling in further details on the printed application form. Keep a
Copy of the application form for your further reference and to produce at the time of selection
process. Candidates need to send the following documents in an A4 size Envelope:

It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for both years, there may be a periodic nominal increase to meet the
rise in costs.
For PGDM (CU) + MBA (FHWS, Germany) : It is mandatory for students to go to Germany for 6 months. Students will need to spend additional amount of approximately Rs.4.2 lakhs towards airfare (to and from Germany), accommodation (in Germany), and insurance, visa charges, food and other living expenses.
For MBA (CU) + MS Business (VCU, USA): It is mandatory for students to go to USA for 9 months. Students should pay for airfare, insurance, visa charges, accommodation in USA (US$600/month & US$700/month for double occupancy & single occupancy respectively payable at the beginning of each semester in July 2016 & Jan 2017), boot camp fee (US$ 500 payable in June 2015), textbooks (US$2000), food & other living expenses (US$300/month). A rough estimate of all these expenses will be Rs.8.5 lakhs at the current exchange rate"
1. NRI fee is applicable for first year for candidates who have studied Foreign syllabus in any of the qualifying
examination of study in India.
(The above condition is not applicable to NRI and candidates applied under NRI Category).

Admission Process:Selected candidates must process their admission within the stipulated date and time given on the e-admission card, by paying the fee and submitting the below mentioned original documents. The submitted original documents will returned to the students on completion of verification / at the time of cancellation. Note: Admission will not be processed without the presence of the candidate and the mandatory original documents mentioned below; 1. Class 10 and class 12 marks statement. 2. / XAT 2015 / ATMA 2014) The selected candidates must remit the annual fee at the South Indian Bank, Christ University, main campus branch, on collecting the fee challan from the Office of Admissions, Ground Floor, Central Block, Christ University main campus, within the stipulated date and time mentioned in the e-admission card/mentioned by the Office of Admissions or else, the offer of admission stands cancelled.

The University ID card is a smart card, which is both an ID card as well as a South Indian Bank ATM card with a chip containing the student personal details. All transactions within the University campus after commencement of classes, including fees payment will be processed only through this card. It is also an access card for Library and other restricted places. Candidates are advised to collect the South Indian Bank account opening form along with fees challan and process it at the bank branch on the University premises. Candidates who fall under International student category (ISC), selected, should register with the Foreigner Regional Registration Officer (FRRO/FRO) of the local Police in Bangalore, India within 14 working days from the date of admission or arriving in Bangalore. The date of commencement of the academic Year 2015 - 2016 is May 30, 2015. at 1:30 PM
Cancellation Process: Cancellation will be based on UGC regulation F.No 6-1(7)/2006(CPP-I) which states “Should a student leave after joining the course and if the seat consequently falling vacant has been filled by another candidate by the last date of admissions, the Institution must return the fee collected with proportionate deductions on monthly fee and proportionate hostel rent, wherever applicable”, however admission processing fees is non refundable in any case.
The application for cancellation should be submitted by the candidate in-person by presenting the a) original fee paid receipt, b) document submission receipt and c) any other documents that had been received from this institution.
No email, telephonic or courier / postal communication will be accepted for cancellation / refund process.
No candidate will be entitled for a refund on or after the date of commencement of classes.

1. The University does not collect any type of capitation / donation and does not authorize any third party to issue
or process application and admission.
2. The University has the right to reject an application that is incomplete or incorrect.
3. Applicants are advised to keep a photocopy of the filled-in application form for further reference.
4. Kindly do not send / submit any original documents until the candidate is admitted to the programme.
5. The online application form will be processed only on receipt of copy of SBI application processing fee paid
challan copy / Online payment through debit card / credit card / net banking.
6. Please be aware that ignorance of the guidelines will not be accepted as an excuse.
7. The institution will not be held responsible for any postal delay and such applications reaching after the
stipulated date / time will not be processed.
Acknowledgement/Undertaking

I understand and agree that if selected for the MBA programme in Christ University, the selection will be based on
the first and second preference mentioned in the application form at the discretion of the University.
I understand that students writing their final degree examinations in March-May 2015 are also eligible to apply and

if selected, admission will be purely provisional and shall be subject to University rules.
I understand that if I have any documents that are pending to be submitted to Office of Admissions, Christ
University, it should be submitted on or before August 20, 2015. Failing to submit the pending documents will be
treated as failed in the qualifying exam and admission will be terminated from Christ University without any claim
on the University.
I understand and agree that admissions processing fees is non refundable in any case.

I understand the definition of ragging and the penalty of ragging under the Karnataka Education Act, 1983
(Karnataka Act No.1 of 1995) Section 2 (29) and the Order of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
I understand and undertake to face disciplinary action/legal proceedings including cancellation of
admission/debarring from examinations, valuation and assessment process/expulsion from Christ University, if I’m
found guilty of any aspect of ragging.

hereby declare that a) if I do not have at least 85% of attendance in each subject at the end of each
Trimester/Semester/Year b) if I do not keep up the ideals of the University, c) if my conduct is not good and
indulge in any behavior or act that may come under the definition of ragging, d) if I fail to upkeep the integrity
required for the postgraduate programme and e) if I do not maintain the academic discipline, the Vice Chancellor /
the Registrar / Office of Admission / Controller of Examinations has right not to permit me for any University
exam / detain me or terminate my admission at any time during my study.
I Further promise to abide by the rules and regulations of this Institution.
