Prayer Meeting Tonight at 7:00 in the Fellowship Hall. In these troubled times, God’s people need to pray. Join us for an hour as we pray “thy kingdom come” in our church, community, nation, and world.
Spanish Worship Service This month, the Spanish Service that usually happens the last week of the month is happening TODAY in the Chapel during the 10:30 worship service. There is no Spanish translation for the service in the Sanctuary. Also, on June 20 there is no Spanish ABF. We'll be at Camp Zion.
What If The Sermon’s Not For Me? Don’t absent yourself from worship! You can pray during the sermon that God will use it to shape the lives of those who do need it – your brothers and sisters in the family of God.
Parent And Child Dedication is next week in our Father ’s Day worship service. We resume our Sermon on the Mount series; grade school children will be with the rest of us for the whole service, including the sermon.
Preparation For Baptism Our next baptism will be August 15 (Sunday afternoon at Promised Land). If you’re interested in being baptized, or even just getting more information about it, let Pastor Langley know ASAP. A baptism preparation session will be required.
Children's Church Our sermon series Mother’s Day through Father’s Day, “Sex for the Glory of God,” may be a bit much for children. Children will sit with their parents at the start of the service. Before the sermon each week in this series we’ll excuse children ages 4-year through grade 6 for age-appropriate teaching (also related to God’s design for families). Following the worship service, parents, please pick up their children in the in the following locations:
4th, 5th & 6th grade - in room 1 (Children's Wing) 1st - 3rd grade - in room 4 (Children’s Wing) 4 & 5-year old - in their SS classroom (Children's Wing) (Nursery provided as usual for infants through age 3.)

The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord. Therefore, glorify God with your body.

Sermon ‘Crumbs’ Today’s Scripture text uses the Greek word porneia (from which we get “pornography”). Variously translated “sexual immorality” or “fornication,” it’s a broad New Testament term for any sexual relations outside of marriage. Other key references using this word are Matthew 5:32, 19:9; Acts 15:20,29; Romans 1:29; 1 Corinthians 6:13; Ephesians 5:3.
In-Tents Camping on the 4th of July Weekend This is for all camping enthusiasts and anyone else who would just like to hang out by the campfire for a while. We are opening up the CCC property for overnight camping. Bring your tent or bring your trailer, we will have a space for you. Camp sites will be available Friday-Monday over the long
holiday weekend. There will be activities for the kids and fun for all ages. Sunday morning will have an outdoor worship service followed by an all church family picnic. Since the Zion Park Distr ict will not be hosting a 4th of July Festival or fireworks we have an idea for creating our own…Stay tuned. You never know what Pastor Mike will come up with. Please register for your campsite in the church lobby, office or on the CCC website.
Homeowner in Need? The Many Hands Project is looking for service projects for this summer’s MHP (June 28-30). Specifically, we are looking to assist homeowners with projects that they cannot perform themselves and cannot afford to have completed. If you have such a project that we can assist you with, contact Pastor Leo at [email protected] for more information.
Picnic and Baptism on the Beach Sunday, August 15, 3:00pm-7:00pm at Promised Land. This will be a time of worship and praise to God for His goodness and faithfulness as we celebrate CCC's 125th anniversary.
Nursery volunteers - You are amazing! Serving the babies and toddlers and their families is a vital ministry of our church and the Church. We could use more Jr. & Sr. High and adults in our nurseries. ❤
Homeschool with Threads of Grace For the 2021/2022 school year, Threads of Grace will meet most Tuesdays here at Christ Community Church. You can stop by the church office to get more information about Threads of Grace and how to schedule
an applicant interview to be considered for this upcoming school year. Online interviews with the board are available until tomorrow, June 14. Threads of Grace is hosting a meeting on Wednesday, June 16, 7:00pm in the CAA for all the moms who are going to participate this fall.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Bible Study Ladies please join us for Bible study videos in the Parlor Friday mornings through Aug. 6. 9am - 11am. No workbook, no homework, just fellowship, a video, discussion, and prayer. Come for one or all or anything in between. We will not meet on holiday weekends.
Women’s Ministries Summer Social: Books & Beverages On Tuesday, June 15 at 6:00pm, join us on the Rose Garden patio outside of the sanctuary lobby. Bring a favorite book to share with us and a lawn chair. It doesn’t have to be a serious book, but let’s keep it clean. We’ll take turns sharing, sip on some cool drinks and maybe you’ll come away with a few ideas for your book wish list. Contact

Many Hands Project We still have room for students to participate in MHP 2021 (June 27-30). This is open to incoming freshmen through graduating seniors. It is a 3 day local missions experience, serving homeowners in the community during the day and worshipping together in the evenings as we stay with other youth groups at The Bridge youth facility overnight. If any family is uncomfortable with the overnights we are also willing to accept students who need to go home each evening. Contact Pastor Leo for more info.

VBS! June 21-25, 9am-11:30am. Treasured is the theme and will feature Bible Stories, Prayer, Singing & Dancing, Games, Crafts, Science, Scripture Memory, and Snacks. Our prayer is for children to feel loved, welcomed and to understand God's amazing love for them.
