CHRIST THE SOWER

HEATING and LIGHTING A big thank you to those who have made a donation which has allowed us to purchase the heaters for the Church. We now need to work on raising the money to upgrade the lighting. If you would like to help reach our target (see the thermometer on the wall in the church foyer) please put your donation in an envelope clearly marked ‘heating and lighting donation) and put it in the offertory plate. Include your name and a receipt will be issued

HERB SOCIETY BIRTHDAY Everyone is invited to join the Herb Societies for their 40th celebration next Saturday 26th in our hall at 12pm. The day will begin with lunch. Jane Wrigglesworth a well known writer is the guest speaker. Cost $20 For further information contact Diane Weatherhead 527 8095 or see her at our 9am service.

REFUGEES Another group of refugees are arriving in the greater Wellington area in October. We have been asked to provide some general items including a new vacuum cleaner and also some items for the pantry. There is a list in the foyer of items required, if you would like to contribute—just put your name beside the item you will provided. There is a box in the foyer also for you to put your donated items. We need to have the items by Sunday 1 October.

GARAGE SALE The next one will be will be on Saturday 1 October.

NEW WINE 2018 A flier is on the notice board in the church foyer and there are some brochures including booking forms on the side table. Early bird discounts close on 30 November
