Scugog Studio Of Performing ArtsArtistry, Confi dence, Self Esteem, Team Work, Poise, Concentration, Discipline. And fun. LOTS of fun!!
At Scugog Studio of Performing Arts, we strive to make the creative experience one that is fun for the student – and also one that teaches life long tools for their journey in life. • The dancer who performs a breathtaking solo, interprets a piece
of music, learns about the emotion she can convey with body and face, gaining enormous confi dence.
• The jazz or tap duet that learns the value of trusting their partner, learning and fully understanding the immense value of teamwork.
• The actor who reaches inside himself and fi nds his self esteem. John, Jennifer, Sherri and our incredible staff invite you to be a
part of something wonderful: the creative growth of your child.

Learn To Skate This Fall! The Port Perry Skating Club offers children age 3 and up the
opportunity to learn to skate and to improve their skating skills in a fun and professional environment.
Port Perry Skating Club is a non-profi t organization sanctioned by Skate Canada and run by volunteers in the community. All members of our coaching staff are professionally trained, experienced coaches, registered with Skate Canada. They are assisted by the club’s intermediate and senior skaters who volunteer their time to help coaches and be a role model for younger skaters.
The Canskate program is an excellent way to learn to skate for budding hockey players and fi gure skaters alike, or just come out to learn a new skill!

Dozens of vendors, selling every conceivable product for dogs, were kept busy during the Dog Days of Scugog weekend held on July 17, 18 at the Scugog Shores Museum on Scugog Island. Hundreds of dog lovers and their pooches, converged on the mu-seum grounds to enjoy watching dogs compete in a variety of competi-tions. Pictures on this page show some of the action during the popu-lar two-day event.
This beautiful lab sails through the air to get his toy which had been thrown into the water, during the DockDogs competition.
Meet ‘Neco’ and ‘Luke’, two papillon therapy dogs that were getting lots of attention as they were wheeled around Scugog Shores Museum.

This spunky jack russell terrier named ‘Tactix’ loved competing in the DockDogs competition and he’s seen here making a big splash as he jumped into the pool.
‘Gemini’, the gentle bullmastiff was a surprise contestant in the “agility” competition at Dog Days of Scugog. But here Gemini shows his stuff, jump-ing over one of the bars.
‘Teague’ weaves his way through the poles in the agility competition at the Dog Days of Scugog, held at the Scugog Shores Museum.
