Christmas is a time of amazing transformations and dazzling sights on our high streets and in our homes. It’s a time when we come together to feast and exchange gifts with family and friends; a

time to share the wonder of the season.

When it comes to decorating their homes, our customers are getting bolder and more confident every year, using lights, trees and accessories both inside and out. This year we have created

our most diverse collection yet and hope it will stimulate seasonal ideas and fuel Christmas creativity.

The inspiration for our decorations comes from talking to our customers and Partners about how they celebrate Christmas.

Delving into the detail about the traditions, hobbies and interests which make Christmas special for each household reveals that no

two celebrations are the same. Through our research we have curated seven collections which embrace traditional, playful and mindful Christmas themes. Whilst some of us enjoy the time-

honoured rituals of Christmas, others prefer to party or retreat to the potting shed for some peace and quiet.

As ever we’ve scoured the globe for the most beautiful and unusual decorations. Look out for chameleons and cassette

tapes, campfires and caravans, showgirls and sloths, dinosaurs and daffodils in our most fun and fantastical collection yet.

To help our customers get the look we’ve boxed up some of our favourite baubles to create amazing value sets. Used as a foundation these can be ‘topped-up’ with old favourites and

refreshed with new purchases every year.

Meanwhile, the most stylish, on-trend trees will be those that create a natural look and an informal silhouette. In artificial

trees,we expect sales of pre-lit styles will overtake unlit styles for the first time this year. Increasingly branches will sweep down to

touch the floor, making trees appear fuller and taller.

Key new Christmas colours are blush and dusky pink, as seen on the fashion catwalks, and layered shades of green to bring the

outdoors in. White is combined with linen and eucalyptus tones to update our most popular colour scheme. At the other end of the spectrum an 80’s and 90’s nightclub-inspired ‘Party’ tree pops and fizzes with hot pink, royal blue and neon orange. This striking tree will ignite a sense of fun and nostalgia in any household, and

carry celebrations through to the eve of 2020.

However our customers choose to celebrate Christmas, we want to help them make it wonderful.

T R A D I T I O N SThis theme is a reflection on what a ‘Traditional’ Christmas

means today. Nostalgia plays an important part over the festive season, it’s a chance to remember past traditions and create new ones. Influenced by a variety of traditions and family dynamics,

this collection celebrates the season’s traditional activities such as tucking into mince pies, roasting turkeys, baking Christmas biscuits

with loved ones, playing in the snow and ice skating.

G E T T H E LO O KThe colour palette is made of ruby reds, lush greens and teals layered with touches of gold and copper throughout to add a little sparkle to the room. Rich velvets mixed with natural materials and homemade items create a traditional tone.

Add statement baubles such as our mince pie decoration and mix in with more classic designs such as mini stockings

to create an engaging tree.
