This translates roughly that Ninu's mother has baked Christmas ringsmade with chestnuts.

December is here again, a cold month, where we send cards, and bakesweets and cakes.

In every house, through the window, we can see a tall Christmas tree,bells and presents.

We all prepare a crib, Baby Jesus on some hay, St Joseph and Our Lady,and a few shepherds on the hills.

These carols are sung by children on 31th January early in the morning.Children get together in groups, go to people's houses and sing the carols holdingtriangles. People give them money and Christmas treats.The philharmonic band of our village wanders around playing the carols on Christmas

and Ney Year's Eve evenings. It's a delight to listen to them!
