This week a team of six Year 5 and 6 children attended the Indoor Athletics Cornwall Games Qualifier at Newquay

Sports Centre. Each child performed a field and track event. The field events included: throwing, jumping and the

'speed bounce'. The running events included: a sprint, hurdles and long distance. This event was extremely com-

petitive! The children competed excellently and performed so well that they have qualified for the next round of

the Cornwall School Games. Well done Perranporth!
