Four weeks before Christmas we make an Advent wreath with candles.

At Christmas we decorate a christmas tree…

…with baubels and…

…tinsels.

We sent christmas cards withgreetings and best wishes.

We also get presents for Christmas.

In western countries people believethat it is Santa Claus who bringspresents for children.

So we also leave empty stockings for him to fill, a glass of hot milk to drink…

…and a few gingerbread cookies. Not many as he is on a diet

Santa comes in his sleigh…

… pulled by his reindeers.

Santa also has little helpers called elves. They help him pack all the presents.

In England people eat turkey…

…and a christmas pudding for Christmas.

They also pull crackers which splitwith a mild bang!

People also often kiss when they areunder a mistletoe which is hanged inour houses.

We also sing christmas carolsduring this special time.

When it is snowing outside, we oftenmake a snowman. Good fun for everyone.
