- Created large sculptures in large areas and formats

- All works temporary, no permanent projects.

- Previously wrapped objects, which was then transferred to a bigger scale

- Use of fabrics to give soft sensual mood

- Financially independent

Art Work

Wrapped coast One Million Square Feet, Little Bay, Sydney, Australia 1968-69- 2.4km of coast line warped in

erosion control fabric and 56.3 km of rope.

- 17,000 man power hours. - Took 4 weeks - Through a different light onto the

way we look at our surroundings

Conceptual ideas - Wrapping- Ropes - The coast - The singular colour of

the artwork - The natural

environment that interacts with the artwork

Audience- No one sees these artworks in person.- Everything would be expressed entirely through photography- A sense of the scenery, an alternative image of Australia- One million square feet of erosion control fabric and 35 miles

of polypropylene rope- 17,000 manpower hours, over a period of four weeks, were

expended by 15 professional mountain climbers, 110 workers.

- A more modern side to art; technology

- Technology creating a wider variety of art, straying away from mainstream art

- The project was entirely funned by the pair, no sponsorship was accepted
