Christ's Harvest Mission is a registered societalMissionary Movement carried out by young men. CHM wasstarted in 1998 by a few young boys and an elder brotherduring their school days with dedication and enthusiasm inbuilding the kingdom of God.

• To show that Jesus Christ is the way, truth and life tothose who are groping in the dark by different kinds ofmissionary work.• To take the gospel among the downtrodden, debilitatedand destitute in the society and to uplift their social status.• Caring the missionary-families, orphans, poor children,forsaken aged and physically challenged.

We began our mission work at Paraikankal, the mostmarginalized slum community on the outskirts ofNagercoil.
The problem persisting among these people were• Illiteracy & poverty• Alms taking & stealing• Distilled superstition & blood tasting cannibalism• Child marriage and prostitution• Alcohol and drug addiction• Unhygienic lifestyle & environment

-To prevent the children from begging and other social evils-We are caring 24 pre-school children

-To motivate, educate and uplift the younger generation spiritually and socially.120 children are being trained in this centre.

Christ’s Harvest Mission believes in evangelization througheducation, eradication of poverty, health care and healing;providing the people with minimum standards of decent humanliving. So far CHM could open up the following mission fields

Sesasamuthirum,Viluppuram district,Tamil Nadu.6. Manjaputhur, Viluppuram district, Tamil Nadu.7. G.Nagar, Viluppuram district, Tamil Nadu.8. Keilapat ,Viluppuram district, Tamil Nadu.
In all mission fields there are free evening tuition centers. Thefaith commitment of CHM is that, in course of time, every tuitioncenter would grow and blossom into a vibrant place of worship asa local church spreading all around love, tolerance, humility andpeaceful co-existence of all peoples.

Now, there are more girl children who go for begging andthey need to be rehabilitated. We have decided to build anew home for girls. We have to buy 45 cents of land andeach cent costs Rs.1,25,000/- The building cost for onesq.feet is Rs.1500/- for a total of 10,000 sq.feet and the costfor one room is Rs.4,50,000/- We are hopefully lookingforward to sponsors to meet this need.
