ELECTRIC

TUNING Color Tone ControlBUTTONS

An entirely new and novelcolor tone control is designedinto the MoPar Radio Model801. The disc behind the vol-ume control knob allows theowner to change the tone of theradio to suit his taste. The toneis indicated by the color illu-mination of the dial, push but-tons and the tone indicator.

When the indicator showsthe word MELLO and theillumination of the dial isVIOLET, bass notes are given

heavy emphasis. As the disc is turned to the right the VIOLET light gradu-ally changes through the spectrum until YELLOW appears and the bassnotes are blended with the treble notes, and the word MUSIC appears in theindicator. On turning the disc further to the right the treble notes are em-phasized, the illumination changes to RED and the indicator shows VOICE.In this last position, speech is more natural and pleasing. For music use theposition MELLO or MUSIC. When static or other electrical interference ispresent it can be reduced by adjusting the tone control to MELLO.
