Introduction:

Chrysler smart screen is communication tool allows the workshop team to

communicate with the technical support and sharing the diagnostic steps to

minimize the diagnostic time in the critical cases. Smart Screen cabinet the ease

of use and familiarity of normal Microsoft PC programs with high desktop PC

connecting to wiTECH gateway to operate through wireless in the work shop.

Chrysler Smart Screen is being introduced to improve the diagnostic capability of

Ezz-Elarab workshops and replace the old operation steps & communication

between the team leader and the technical department.

Chrysler smart screen use desktop PC with high specs to operate with wiTech

Gateway System to communicate and diagnose the vehicle through Wireless,

Chrysler smart screen is equipped with Microsoft Camera with 720 p high

definition to allow life video diagnosis between the work shop team and the

technical support.

The diagnostic capability of Chrysler Smart Screen:-

WiTech EOBD diagnostic application (wireless interface)

Full DTC and dataloger and recording vehicle can report

Full vehicle configuration and vehicle software update

A suit of special application for (team Viewer, Skype ) to share and

communicate with the workshop operation.

Chrysler Smart Screen is supplied preloaded with the relevant operating system

and software updates are provided online using DealerConnect and automatic

update process.

Chrysler smart screen used The wiTech scan tool/diagnostic software is a PC

based diagnostic system for Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and North American Fiat

vehicles. wiTech utilizes a Vehicle Communication interface (VCI) to connect the

vehicle to the PC and through the specially configured internet access point to

perform diagnostics, reprogramming and security functions.

Chrysler smart screen use windows 7 Microsoft operating system to be familiarity

& easy in workshop use for the engineers, the idea of this project is to make a

small network consists of main guest computer on two service center (Desert

road and Falouga) as two host computers , you can share files , check the

diagnosis procedures live which allow you to correct the diagnosis or inform any

missing steps , so we choose (Team Viewer) application for building this small

network which has all this features.

Chrysler Smart Screen Desktop

We corporate with Art designer Mr. Ahmed Hassan from (Animation Advertising

Agency) to make an identity for our project with Chrysler brands through smart

screen logo, smart screen logo means team work communication and diagnose

through screen. The desktop include the software for this module as shown:

You can remote to the two host computers through the team viewer application,

to choose which computer you want to communicate with as shown:

WiTECH diagnosis application for allow the user to diagnose , repair , actuate and

provides vehicle data and service information at the same time through the

wiTECH pod or the Star Mobile.

This for check and update the wiTECH application and the diagnostic tool (VCI

POD)

This allow the user to login directly to Chrysler dealer connect site

www.dealerconnect.com

Skype is a free instant messenger service enabling you to communicate with

people using your headphones or webcam. With Skype you will be able to text,

talk using microphone, or even see the person on the other side of the computer.

You can connect through PC, smartphone, or even a TV set with Skype installed

on it.
