OVERVIEWChâteau Lalène and its vineyard are located in the heart of the BordeauxRegion, in the commune of Bossugan, 60 kiliometres from Bordeaux, East ofthe Gironde River. Since 1845, this property has always been run by the samefamily; five generations of wine-growers have passed down an ancestralknow-how. Today, Laurent Cioci manages the domain.

VINIFICATIONClassical vinification in thermo-regulated vats. Long vatting for 4 to 5 weeks.Ageing in oak barrels, with 33% new barrels.

WINE TASTINGBeautiful deep purple colour. On the nose, elegant aromas of fresh fruits,violet and fine woody notes with roasted tones. On the palate, a lot ofstructure and volume with robust tannins and a long finish.

MATCHING FOOD AND WINEServe at 17-18°C with grilled beef tenderloin, smoked ham platter for anaperitif, or with poultry stew. This wine will enhance a good selection ofcheeses or cooked meats.
