“What is truth?”

Ps 119:30. I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me.:43. And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, For I have hoped in Your ordinances.:142. Your law is truth.:151. All Your commandments are truth.:160. The entirety of Your word is truth.

Jn1:14,17. The Word – Jesus – full of / brought grace and truth.

8:31-32. Jesus word is truth, and truth will set us free. 14:6. I (Jesus) am the way, the truth, and the life. 17:17. Sanctify them by truth. Your (God’s) word is truth.

Ps 19:7-11. Truth = law, testimony, statues, commandment, judgments (Ps 119). Truth is perfect, sure, right, pure, clean, true and righteous. Truth is to be desired more than fine gold.Truth is sweeter than honey from the honeycomb. Truth offers great reward.

Ps 25:5. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, … On You I wait all the day.

Prov 23:23. Buy the truth and sell it not.

Mt 22:34-40.Love God with your all. Love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.

1 Jn 5:3. God’s commandments are not burdensome.

Mt 23:4; Lk 11:46. Pharisees, lawyers [men] bind heavy burdens, hard to bear.

Mt 11:25-30. Jesus offers rest from the heavy burdens.His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

Jn 8:32. Jesus word is truth, and truth will set us free.

Our Relationship with Truth1 Tim 2:4. God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to

come to the knowledge of the truth.

1 Ths 2:13. You received the word of God and welcomed it, not as the word of men but as truth, the word of God, which effectively works in you who believe.

2 Tim 2:15. A man of God should rightly divide the word of truth.

Eph 4:15. Speak the truth in love for growth of the body in Christ.1 Tim 3:15. The church is the pillar and ground of the truth.

Rom 2:8. Some who do not obey the truth.2 Ths 2:10-12. Some who do not receive, love, believe the truth.2 Tim 3:7. Some who are always learning and never able to come to

the knowledge of the truth.

Gal 4:16. Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?

Gospel TruthActs 26.

1 Cor 2:1-2, 15:1-8, 20. Paul declares the testimony of God / the gospel.Jesus Christ was crucified / died for our sins.He was buried. He rose again on the third day. He was seen by many.He is the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.Is 1:18. Come now and let us reason together.Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow.Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
