DECEMBER 2019SUNDAY 1 – First Sunday of AdventMt . 24,37-44 (1)

If the Lord rises to Heaven and sits on his throne of glory to reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit,will he not begin to bring order to His Kingdom? A King without his kingdom is not king; A kingdomwithout a king is not a kingdom. The universe without its Creator and without the order that He gave itis not a universe in the full sense, and we say the same about all creatures of God, including above allthe human being. God must reign in humanity.We must be prepared, doing what we have to do, trusting Who we should trust. We do not know whenthe Lord will come, but we do know that he will come. And when he comes, he will come with thescepter in his hand, he will come to put order, he will come to drown out the bad and rescue the good.It will eliminate darkness and its activities, and will impose light above all darkness. May he find usbeing light!Let us ask God for the grace of perseverance until the end, and also ask for the grace of constantrepentance. That we don't like doing so much badly, but that we always prefer to do good, even if itcosts us more and if we win rejection. May God grant us to seek him, and may he also grant us to findhim. And, in the end, find us dressed in our Lord Jesus Christ, to go with Him to reign in Heaven.

Si el Señor sube al Cielo y se sienta en su trono de gloria a reinar junto con el Padre y el EspírituSanto, ¿no empezará a poner orden en Su Reino? Un Rey sin su reino no es rey; un reino sin Rey noes reino. El universo sin su Creador y sin el orden que Él le dio no es un universo en el sentido pleno,y lo mismo decimos de todas las creaturas de Dios, incluyendo sobre todo al ser humano. Dios debereinar en la humanidad.Debemos estar preparados, haciendo lo que tenemos que hacer, confiando en Quien debemos con-fiar. No sabemos cuándo el Señor vendrá, pero sí sabemos que vendrá. Y, cuando venga, vendrácon el cetro en la mano, vendrá a poner orden, vendrá a ahogar lo malo y a rescatar lo bueno.Eliminará las tinieblas y sus actividades, e impondrá la luz por encima de toda oscuridad. ¡Que nosencuentre siendo luz!Pidamos a Dios la gracia de la perseverancia hasta el final, y pidámosle también la gracia del arre-pentimiento constante. Que no nos guste tanto hacer lo malo, sino que prefiramos siempre hacer lobueno, incluso si nos cuesta más y si nos gana rechazo. Que Dios nos conceda buscarle, y que tam-bién nos conceda encontrarle. Y que, al final, nos encuentre vestidos de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,para irnos con Él a reinar en el Cielo.

1. Let’s talk: Has anything unexpected happened to us this week? Has it been pleasant or unpleasant? If unplea-sant, was it because of carelessness? 2. Read together the Bible readings for today. (Page 6).3. Message for our family for this week: *In his coming, God promises a kingdom of peace, where nations put down their weapons and togehter build anot-her world. *Paul invites us to live in the light that is, in truth, honesty in our work, and care for one another. *We do no know when the coming of God will be, but we do know that God comes to us each day in many ways.We must do good works while we wait for him. *At what points in this week have we had to choose between truth and lies, honesty at work or negligence, care ofeach other or carelessness? What plans have we made to prevent some problems in our families?

FAMILY PRAYERWe want to walk in your light, Lord.

We want to do the works of light, to say the truth to one another, to care for each other as if we

were receiving you, Come, Lord Jesus!

Mensaje para nuestra familia esta semana:*Dios promete en su venida un reino de paz, en que las naciones por fin deponen las armas y crean juntas otromundo. *Pablo nos invita a vivir en la luz; es decir, en verdad, honestidad en nuestro trabajo y atencion a los demas. *No sabemos cuando sera la venida de Dios, pero si que Dios viene a nosotros cada dia en muchas maneras.Debemos esperarlo haciendo el bien. * ¿En que momentos de esta semana nos hemos visto ante una opcioni de verdad o mentira; honestidad en el tra-bajo o negligencia; atencion de unos a otros o descuido? ¿Que planes hacemos para prevenir problemas en nues-tra familia?

Solemnidad la Inmaculada Concepción de la Santísima Virgen María - LaInmaculada Concepción, conocida también como la Purísima Concepción, es undogma de la Iglesia católica decretado en 1854 que sostiene que la Virgen Maríaestuvo libre del pecado original desde el primer momento de su concepción por losméritos de su hijo Jesucristo, recogiendo de esta manera el sentir de dos mil añosde tradición cristiana al respecto. Se celebra cada 8 de diciembre. Este año la fechaes domingo y la celebración de domingo prevalece por lo que será celebrada en todala Iglesia el lunes 9 de diciembre.
