Historic Ruins of Chwar Taqan

Located south of Koya city, Chwar Taqan was as a resting place and stopover for caravans travelling betweenKoya, Erbil, and Kirkuk. The historic ruins of Chwar Taqan went through delicate renovated in the year 2002.carried out by the District Commissioner of Koya. They include four great water jars used by the caravantravellers and their mules.
