Recommended Border Port of Entry

U.S. Customs• Before exiting the U.S. the Before exiting the U.S. the

U.S. Customs• When you arrive at U S Customs you must identify yourself as a participant • When you arrive at U.S. Customs, you must identify yourself as a participant

of the NASCAR Nationwide/GRAND-AM Rolex Series race in Montreal. • U.S. Customs will need to see the 4455 – Certificate of Registration and the

detailed list of inventory (manifest). • U.S. Customs will then stamp 3 copies of the 4455 - Certificate of

Registration1. US Customs will keep a copy.2 UPS ill k ( l k th C t ffi t l it i th UPS f ld )2. UPS will keep a copy (please ask the Customs officer to place it in the UPS folder).3. The truck driver will need a copy (do NOT leave without a stamped copy).

• In the event that you do not get your 4455 stamped, U.S. Customs will treat this importation as a “dutiable entry” which means each individual item in the hauler will have to be classified (extremely time consuming) and you will have to pay duties on each individual item (very expensive). In addition, U.S. Customs can request an affidavit from the original manufacturer indicating that the item was made in the U.S. Other Government Agencies can also be involved such as the U.S. Food and Drug Ad i i i d h ll FDA l d h l d i fi Administration on goods that are normally FDA regulated such as any laser device, first aid kits, etc.

Canadian Customs

• After U.S. Customs has stamped the U.S. CF 4455 -Certificate of Registration you will then proceed into Canada.
