Flow Meter-Type ADescriptionThe Bell & Gossett Circuit Sensor Flow Meter is aprecision machined wafer-type orifice insert. Thisrugged flow meter is designed to monitor system flows at a minimal pressure drop through the flow meter. The Circuit Sensor accommodates a wide range of standard ANSI Flanges, such as the 125, 150, 250 or 300 PSIG.

Determining system flow becomes uncomplicated when using the Circuit Sensor. The system flow rate is obtained by by taking a D P reading across the readout ports, then referring to the calibrated nameplate for the corresponding flow. The Circuit Sensor is available in sizes from 2-1/2” to 12”.

Operating Limitations

1. The Circuit Sensor has a maximum working pressure of 300 PSIG and a maximum operating temperature of 250°F.

2. A minimum length of unrestricted piping must be maintained upstream and downstream of the Circuit Sensor Flow Meter to assure calibrated accuracy. Refer to Data Sheet HS-CSFM-982 or Instruction Sheet G95620C for the

minimum required lengths of unrestricted pipe.

3. The Circuit Sensor Flow Meter is equipped with RV-125A brass readout valves.

CAUTIONWhen monitoring system flow care must be exercised to avoid direct skin or eye contact with liquids that may escape. Liquids with temperatures in excess of 120ºF may cause burns.
