Dear Trade Partner,

Jet Airways has implemented EMD - S (Electronic Miscellaneous Document - stand alone) on Abacus, Amadeus and Galileo systems. This replaces current process of VMPD issuance.

The description of the EMD-S in lieu of VMPDs issued are given below: EMD-S

Status change process for ' NO GO ' to read as ' OK ' - Issue an EMD on the new PNR, pertaining to the no show fee (As per fare rule) - Under endorsement field of the EMD, please indicate the ticket number along with the penalty amount Example: No show fee - LKR 3000/- for ticket number 589-xxxxxxxxxx - Email us on jetairways.mal@keells.com or call Jet Airways Reservations with ticket numbers and relevant EMD-S numbers. - Once status change is done you may re-issue the ticket via GDS by collecting necessary date change / reroute fee fare difference where applicable. - Date change fee / Reroute penalty to be shown under ' CP ' tax code

In-order to raise an EMD you need to make a passive booking/segments. After issuance you need to cancel/remove the passive segments. Do not block any active/live bookings for issuance of EMD.

Rest of the GDS users can continue to issue VMPDs as usual.
