Vulcanei shows in a unique and evocative place asthe Castle of Lispida the best oenological pro-duction of many volcanic areas of Italy and some of foreign countries.

More than 30 Euganean wine companies and more than 25 from other volcanic areas of all Italy will be participating in Vulcanei. Special guests will be wine producers of Hungarian areas of Balaton Lake, Tokai area and of the Greek isle of Santorini.

The Vulcanei event attracts a public made of both wine lovers and operators in the sector (30 % of the public in the previous editions), from the Venetian Region and other bordering regions.

Among the operators of the sector will attend also 50 wine sellers of “Vinarius”, the prestigiousItalian Association of Wine Shops who awardedthe Euganean Hills with the 2017 “Award for the territory”.

Five guided wine tastings by AIS VENETO (ItalianAssociation of Italian Sommelier, District of the Venetian Region) are in program where to discover the different territories through their wines, maybe similar, or completely different.

An excellent masterclass dedicated to the wines of guest countries and some of the best Italian wine productions. This masterclass will be guided by John Szabo Master sommelier from Canada, considered the leading expert of volcanic wines in the world.

Besides the wide offer of volcanic wines, food plays an important role during the event. There will be the products made by partners of the “Strada del Vino” of the Euganean Hills, some products of Slow Food presidia and some products of European brands.
