BE IT ORDERED: that in accordance with the provisions of General Laws of Massachusetts

and the Revised Charter of the City of Medford, insofar as the latter is applicable, the CityClerk, be and he, is hereby authorized and instructed to notify and warn such of theinhabitants of the City of Medford, qualified to vote and the law requires, to assemble at theseveral polling places as designated in this order for and within the several precincts wherethey are duly registered voters on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2009, then and there to givetheir ballots for the nomination of respectively:

One (1) Mayor to serve for a period of two (2) years from the first Monday in January,2010, to be elected by and from the qualified voters of the City at large.

Seven (7) members of the City Council to serve for a period of two (2) years from the

first Monday in January, 2010, to be elected by and from the qualified voters of theCity at large.

Six (6) members of the School Committee to serve for a period of two (2) years fromthe first Monday in January, 2010, to be elected by and from the qualified voters of theCity at large.

BE IT FURTHER ORDERED: that the following named polling places be and they arehereby designated to be used at the City Election to be held on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3,2009.

(The said polling places to be open at 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.)

Be it Resolved that Office of Community Development provide the Medford City Councilcopies of all reimbursements and balance, to the Mystic Valley Development Authority fromone million dollar section 108 loan, as was a condition for approval.

09-730-Offered by Councillors Camuso and BurkeBe it Resolved that the Mayor and the Hormel Commission solicit bid to allow localcompanies to purchase a new scoreboard for Hormel Stadium. Furthermore, that thehighest bidder be allowed to advertise their business on the scoreboard at the discretion ofthe Hormel Commission.

Be it Resolved that the Medford City Council sends it sincere condolences to the family ofretired school employee Mary Marelli who passed away recently, Mrs. Marelli is the wife ofCharles Marelli.

09-734-Offered by Councillor PentaBe it Resolved that Congressman Edward Markey file an amendment to the proposednational health care plan that is geared for all Americans wherein all elected members ofcongress shall be mandated to be a part of such health plan offering as compared to theirbeing specifically excluded from the law you want everyone else to abide by.

Be it Resolved, in the spirit of community investment, that every resident bediligent in picking up leaves in front of their homes and in their neighborhoods and usingenvironmentally friendly bags for removal.
