Registered charity 1088239 City legends set for annual celebrity football match Seven ex-City stars will return to Carrow Road, to take part in the Community Sports Foundation and Sellebrity Soccer’s annual charity football match on May 17. Jamie’s Game, returning for its third instalment, will see Dean Ashton, Chris Sutton, Ruel Fox, Adrian Forbes, Leon McKenzie and Adam Drury all stepping out on to the pitch once again. They will be joined by Darren Eadie, founder of event organisers Sellebrity Soccer. “It’ll be great to roll back the years and have the guys back on the pitch together again,” said the former City winger. “It’s a Jamie’s Game debut for Adam and Chris this year, and I’m sure they’ll relish being back at Carrow Road again. We’ll try not to go too easy on them!” The 39-year-old is excited about the return of the celebrity game, which attracted over 9,500 fans to Carrow Road last year. “The support we get from the fans is always fantastic and it’s going to be a hugely enjoyable afternoon. “All our celebs give up their free time to play at the match but are all more than happy to do so, especially when it’s for such a great cause” Alongside the contingent of ex-Canaries, celebrities from the worlds of TV, film and music will complete the two teams. 1: Darren Eadie’s Sellebrity Soccer have joined forces with CSF to bring Jamie’s Game back for a third year. 2: Over 9,500 fans came out to support the match last year. 3: Fresh from his recent boxing successes, former City striker Leon McKenzie will be back at Carrow Road.
