NORTH RIDGEVILLE COMMUNITY GARDEN

Located on Chestnut Ridge Road, at the entrance to Route 10, the Community Garden was launched in 2011 in a partnership with Mayor Gillock's administration and the active adult community, Pioneer Ridge. Homeowners at Pioneer Ridge have taken the city's mission for the garden and devised a set of rules, developed a system for assigning plots, and will manage the project with the city's blessing. In Spring of 2012, the Community Garden will be open to residents of North Ridgeville. All participating gardeners must agree to adhere to the garden's rules and support the concept that excess produce, beyond consumption of the gardener and his or her family, is to be donated to North Ridgeville's Community Care. A copy of the garden'sguidelines will be available beginning January 15, 2012 .
