After counseling, faculty member is given two weeks time to improve their performance inthe subject.

If the faculty members performance is not satisfactory even after two weeks time anotherfaculty member is assigned for that subject.

Second time, feedback from the students is taken after 3rdmid exam (i.e., at the end of thesemester). For the faculty members who got less feedback, Orientation classes are

arranged to mould the faculty members in a better way.

    1. Direct instruction - This strategy includes methods such as lecture, practice and demonstrations. The direct instruction strategy is effective for providing information or developing step-by-step skills. This strategy also works well for introducing other teaching methods, or actively involving students

in knowledge construction.2. Indirect instruction: indirect instruction is mainly student-centred. It includes reflectivediscussion, concept formation, concept attainment, problem solving using case studies, and guidedinquiry.3. Interactive instruction: discussion and sharing among students to enrich knowledge andcommunication skills.

    4. Independent study: Independent study include learning in partnership with another individual oras part of a small group like mini projects, assignments and research paper presentations.

    5. Experimental Learning: Experiential learning greatly increases understanding and retentioncapabilities of the students.

    46. How does the department ensure that programme objectives are constantly met and

    learning outcomes are monitored?

    Program objectives:

The programme is aimed at providing students with deep understanding of the computer

hardware and software needed for various purposes. This course includes basic skills in

the operation and use of computers and the application of software packages to solve

business problems. The course empowers the students with skills to stay on top to counter

rampant commercialization. The department additionally offers value added

programmes to give extra inputs like Communication Skills, Soft Skills and Project

Management skills etc., especially to those who have graduated in science subjects from

    rural areas.Professional Outcomes:
