Clan Lieutenant Application Thank you for your interest in becoming part of the clan management staff. We are looking for enthusiastic people who share our vision and are determined to provide the best experience to our prospective and current members. The following is a list of things you will be expected to do. It also serves as a guide on how to do things, so you might want to keep a copy on your computer just in case. Write in proper English. Your messages in the forums or on our website should be written in correct grammar and spelling. As a Lieutenant you represent the whole clan with your actions and written communication is one of them. Recruit good players. They need to have a positive Kill/Death ratio and it should be at least 1.4! A player that did good in that one Crossroads game was likely to be lucky, so this is not a criteria for inviting him to join. Look at his profile and calculate KDR. Of course KDR not always relates to skill, but it’s a good way to sort out the bad players. 4000 kills and 3700 deaths is a bad player who has no idea how to survive in the midst of battle. And remember: Quality over quantity. We have 25 spots, we don’t need much people. Monitor the subagames clan forums and contact people who need a clan on there. You must upload an avatar to your MemberCP on suba, you look like a noob without one. Often people will post their xfire on there too, so contact them directly. Again, people with 1.4/1.5 or above KDR only! As soon as someone joins the clan, tell them to get xfire and to join Team Neon clan group on there. You give them a link as soon as they add you to xfire. Xfire Clan Group. Lieutenants have certain privileges in the xfire group. They can post news, edit news, post events on the calendar, manage invitations and accept members to the group. You should ask every new member to join that group. Give them a link and explain how to join if they need help. Ask everyone who hasn’t done so to input his ingame name in the nickname field which is found in the roster. Do not accept people who are not in the clan.

Clan Lieutenant Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming part of the clan management staff.

Organize clan wars. When people want to do clan wars and you are online, you are responsible for that to happen.

Enforce the rules & policies and encourage good sportsmanship during games. Read the rules at the end of this document and familiarize yourself with them.

Internal Rules of Team Neon

Preface

The following document describes your responsibilities and suggested behavior as a part of the clan. You are expected to follow the rules. If you disagree with anything you are free to talk to Michael-S and suggest amendments. If you break the rules you will be warned. If you ignore the warning and break the same rule again you will be asked to leave.

Clan Rules & Policies

1) Foul language. As a part of Team Neon you represent the whole clan with your actions. Please do not swear. Do not insult people in and outside the clan. WTF and WTH is not swearing, feel free to express yourself with those if you are frustrated for some reason but don’t call people bad names.

2) Hack accusations. Do not accuse people of hacking unless you are 100% sure about this. Someone killing you around a wall or getting you from behind or doing a headshot is not a hacker. Accept that there are people better than you or luckier than you and not everyone who appears to be too good is a cheater.

3) Dealing with hacking accusations. If someone tells you you are hacking in a clan war – ignore them. If someone says you are hacking in a public game do whatever you want, just don’t insult people. If you are really hacking – leave the clan, you are not welcome here.

4) Using hacks. Any player caught using any kind of hacks will be kicked without warning. Such individuals may also be reported to SubaGames, resulting in account termination at SubaGame’s disclosure. Remember that your internet connection is tied to an IP address or a range of such (dynamic ip), those can be banned and you might no longer be able to play Cross Fire if you cheat.

5) Activity. Please try to be active. If you are not going to be online for over week, let me or one of the lieutenants know. Inactive members will be kicked out (unless they give us a good reason) because we have limited slots. (currently 25). We want to give a chance to other people to experience playing in a clan, so if you are going to be inactive for no reason, leave.

6) No quitters. Do not quit clan matches unless you have a good reason. Do not quit between the first and the second half unless you have a good reason or you have arranged for someone else to take your place.

7) Communication. Good communication is crucial for the well-being of any organization. Let us know when you are having problems, always tell us when you are going offline between clan wars, so that we know how many people we have left. It’s not cool to go into a room with another clan and have them wait for our 3rd member because he forgot to tell us he’s going offline or wants to go play something else.

8) English. Please use English in the clan chat and during clan matches. This is the official language of the team. We’ve got people from all around the world and we want everyone to understand what’s being said.

9) Respect the management. Please respect the clan management (lieutenants and leader), they are here to make sure you have a pleasant experience. The chain of command is not there to control your actions, we are here to help you out and guide you to the best of our abilities. Everyone makes mistakes, so if you disagree with something that is being said or done let us know! If you are having a problem with a Lieutenant, bring it up with the clan leader in private.

10) Clan Wars. Don’t take breaks in clan wars without speaking to the team leader first. Sometimes it’s impossible to let you have a break, you can’t do it in the middle of games or when we are waiting for a game to start, unless you ask to do it beforehand. If you don’t have time to complete a clan match, don’t start.Follow the leader. During a clan match there is 1 person in charge of it, it’s usually a lieutenant or the clan leader but sometimes neither is online. One person will always act as a captain and you are supposed to follow his directions as best as you can. No quitting. Don’t quit regardless of the result. If a match should be forfeited, that’s up to the team leader to decide, not you. Quitting because we are not able to win makes the whole clan look bad, don’t do it.
