Class of ’95 25th Reunion Accommodation Options

Please make your reservations ASAP!

Area Accommodations

There are numerous accommodation options in the area, including traditional hotel

chains, bed and breakfasts, and private homes with rooms for rent. One of the best ways

to enjoy a class reunion at Culver is to join together in the renting of a lake cottage or pri-

vate home. You can search Airbnb, VRBO for local rentals or consult this site

http://www.visitmarshallcounty.org/where-to-stay for a comprehensive listing of area

hotels, realtors, rental agents, and inns.

Culver Woodcraft Camp

On-campus accommodations are limited to the Woodcraft

Camp. It’s much like camping in a cabin, there is no heat or run-

ning water, which means having to walk to a separate building for

sinks, showers, and lavatories. We always hope for warm weather

by mid-May, but in recent years temperatures have frequently

dipped below freezing overnight, so you’ll want to bring your warm-

est sleeping bags, sweats, or down blankets just in case. Culver will

provide sheets, blankets, and towels. The Alumni Office is taking

reservations for the Woodcraft Camp now. Call 574-842-7200 and

Amy or Ann will be happy to assist you.

Reunion Survey

To make the reunion as meaningful and successful as possible for each of you, the Reunion

Committee has produced a reunion survey. We hope you will all take a few minutes to com-

plete it. The intent is to engage your interest and passion in a variety of topics concerning

Culver and for the committee to then try to facilitate these ideas for the reunion weekend.

We urge you to return for our 25th Reunion! In the meantime Jeff

Kenney, Culver’s Museum Archives Manager, is providing a link to

our past in the “Digital Vault” where you can look over our ’95 Roll

Call and others from our era, Vedettes from our time, vintage films and

a number of other pieces of Culver history. In addition, a video and a

written guide on how to use the Digital Vault is provided. So, happy

hunting as you look back on your years at Culver.

Lost Classmates

The following classmates are on our Lost list. If you are comfortable sharing their

information with the alumni office ([email protected]), we would appreciate the

assistance. Letting them know that Culver does not have their current infor-

mation and asking them to reach out to the alumni office is another simply, and

helpful, way to keep your class rolls current.

Culver Fund

Thank you to the 27 classmates, who supported Culver between July 1, 2018 and June 30,

2019 by making a Culver Fund gift. Our class contributed a total of $36,923 with $33,641

designated for the Culver Fund.

The overall Culver Fund goal for 2019-2020 is $5.5 million, which represents a critical 8%

of the school’s annual budget to support student financial aid, faculty salaries, academic

and leadership programs, a beautiful campus and more!

AGAIN, THANK YOU ALL for your support, and thank you in advance for your im-

portant investment in Culver in providing the resources needed to meet The Culver Mis-

sion:

Culver educates its students for leadership and responsible citizenship in society

by developing and nurturing the whole individual – mind, spirit, and body –

through integrated programs that emphasize the cultivation of character.

Please support our students today with a gift to the Culver Fund. Click here to give.
