May I enroll into the HVBI and will I be successful? A: High school graduation is not a prerequisite for enrolling into HVBI. We have graduated many students who had not graduated from high school.     Steps to RegisteringRead this brochure carefully:1. Hilliard Vocational Bible Institute (HVBI) is currently off ering

    Ministry Development Institute. Th is class is designed for those who feel they have a call of God on their lives into the Five-Fold Ministry. Th ere are no pre-requisites. Th is program is free and open to the public.

    2. You are required to purchase your textbooks for each class and you are encouraged to support this program with a weekly off ering.

    3. Please fi ll out the Registration Form in it’s entirety.4. Please print legibility.5. Please return your Registration Form to the MDI Student Services

    Counter6. A Brief Orientation may be scheduled on or before the

    fi rst night of class during any six week period. Classes meet on Sunday nights from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, in the MDI Center at the North Campus. Resource materials may be purchased with a check, cash, money order, or credit card.

    GENRAL

    ObjectiveHilliard Vocational Bible Institute is the comprehensive School Of Ministry of New Light Christian Center Church. It is designed to prepare believers for every aspect of their lives. Hilliard Vocational Bible Institute (HVBI) is the vision of Bishop I. V. Hilliard, who is Pastor of New Light Christian Center Church, to train others to minister. HVBI encompasses Bishop Hilliard’s commitment to reaching, teaching, developing, and involving believers in a level of ministry that is practical and excellent. Currently HVBI off ers one diploma program: Ministry Development Institute.

    MDI is one of the advanced departments of HVBI. It provides intense training to believers who sense a call of God on their lives to minister. Th e curriculum includes ministry training, principles of ministry development, and church growth. Specifi c topics covered in MDI shall include Ethics (Ministerial and Personal), Sermon Building, Personal Ministry (Home and Hospital Visitation,), Ordinance Ministry (Baptism, Communion, Funerals, Weddings, Baby Dedications), Pentecostal Th eology, Five-fold Ministry (Practical Operation), and Ministry Concepts.

    LIGHT BIBLE INSTITUTE (LBI) is the fundamental department of (HVBI). It was designed to teach the Word of God in a classroom setting on a weekly basis. LBI is design for those who do not sense the call of God on their life but desire to learn more of the Word of God. Students will receive a LBI diploma after completion.
