method. I teach you to use your eyes

as your primary tool. I don't work

with blocking in shapes, but rather by

following a shape with your eyes while

pulling the pencil along the paper. I

call this The Shape Memory Method.�

It's a very effective way to accurately

draw what you see. Learning to draw

is the first step in learning to paint.

From there I�ll walk you through com-

position, design and general water-

color technique. For the advanced

student we explore mixing media (like

watercolor and pastel) and working on

unconventional surfaces. In most of

my classes you can complete a fin-

Half Day classes are 3 hours, Whole Day is 5 hours. Prices quoted do not include charges for supplies or travel expense and per diem reim-bursement. Per diem rate is $70 per day, per class (not per student).
